truck bed drilling hole to run a wire

    where should i drill a 1 inche hole on my truck bed to run my cable from my engine bay to my leisure battery in the back. i was thinking using one the the tiny hole on the truck bed floor near the back panel to evacuate the water. is there a better way to do it?

    I went through the bed storage compartment for power for rear winch.
