Is there any type of product such as vinyl wrap that I can apply to cover up this wrinkly, aged 13 year old dash? It would need to be pliable to accommodate the contours.

Just running some more Stabil through the motors this morning. I like to run it a few times over the winter! Flooded it today. :/.

What’s your pull weight now? I upgraded from 1500# to 3600# boat.

    added the Tundra brake kit.

kids aren't getting any smaller so I’m considering an F150 myself.

Right about 6,500 pounds, little more when I'm loaded to fish. We take 3-4 trips to the coast a year, 200 miles each way. Between the boat and wife loading us down to max payload, I can just get there with the 36 gallon tank. Of course this is with 35" tires and 3.75 gears.

Nice! I also have a Grady that I picked up in 23 . Question, can you provide a pic with your trolling motor up? I was thinking about adding on also for when I want to fish the shallows. Also the make, model of the TM and how you like it!

75" Garmin Kraken. Using a shuttleslide mount to keep it inside the rubrail when stowed while preserving my forward seating. I much prefer it to the Minn Kota Terrova I had on the old boat. I would not own a boat without a trolling motor, both for fishing and sandbar hoping, it's just so handy.

Awesome! Thank you. I have the 2023 Freedom 215, so it's very similar other than it's a bow rider and not a center console. But, the bow is identical to yours and that trolling motor setup is perfect.
Although, I have to admit that I've been toying with the idea of buying a sea doo fishing jet ski to dedicate it for fishing and keeping the GW slime free. haha.

ps. we don't talk about how much more practical it is to have your own boat dock/lift or marina service; rather than, always having to trailer your boat around. Heck, I didn't even buy a trailer for mine!

Yes I think the 215 is exactly the same hull, hopefully you have the 250 HP? We are fortunate to be able to live directly on the lake so we are taking the boat out probably 150+ days a year. Only trailering it when we head to the beach.

Yes, have the 250! Everything has been smooth for me and no issues all around. I'm on the Potomac river so it's been less for me, but something about being able to do snakehead fishing, crabbing, and cruising the historic sites is pretty cool.

    Hmmmm….. this sounds familiar.

Once upon a time, there was a fella who hung out on TW and he was selling his boat without a trailer. We all gave him shit for it. Guess he was smarter than we were!!! :frusty:

Shauna, I guess I realized that a trailer just took up space. The marina where my boat lives (in the boatel) even has a storage fee for those with trailers. Sure I could leave it at my house, but it just seemed wasteful since I'm literally 6 minutes from my marina. If I ever needed a trailer I could always just buy one later or rent one. It doesn't cost much to have a boat trailered either. Bottom line was my 24 ft boat was going to live on the racks inside a building for most of the year and not on a trailer exposed to the elements.
Now, I'm looking at a fishing jet ski and that will live in my garage, so a trailer it is!
