When talking about vehicles left and right, you assume your standing behind the vehicle and the drivers side is left. Why would you not assume the same thing with a trailer? That AI makes the turn signal left on the vehicle and right on the trailer

 

Guess the trailer isn't being towed by a BMW. I have it on good authority that they don't have blinkers.

 

The trailer I bought last summer is a great design, the jack is set back so you can lower the tailgate without hitting.

The fellow started building trailers in 1976 so he knows a thing or two.

I pulled GooseNecks weekly from the age of 16 to 24. The bar was always on the drivers side.

 

I worked with a guy who hit the jack with the tailgate of his 1 week old truck.

My boat trailer jack is driver's side but flippable. My father in laws side by side trailer has it on the passenger. He's a little backwards but he is usually driving while somebody else guides him and connect/disconnects. Thinking about it, it's easier for him to look over his shoulder and see me on the pass side than turn around and see my hand signals on driver's side. Having said that, I'm not sure he's ever even thought about it.
