BTW, that ABC racers pack said it came with a wooden garage. I didn’t take a picture, but this is what I found that matches…

 

License plate sign I made. Originally wanted it the same size a regular plate but didn’t like it abbreviated so I added the extra letters. Glued them to a board painted black.

 

how did you get those cuts so clean? ive hundreds of old plates

 

Ruined quite a few trying different ways. Friend of a friend who does a little metal work cut them on a metal shear.

 

I did have to trim the tops of some of them because some plates are a little bigger than others. Could have left them but wanted them the same height. Ran them back and forth on my grinder.

 

You can see in this picture they are different lengths. Tin snips worked but also bend the plate a little. Just have to go slow to keep it straight.

 

Also picked this up today. Just wanted the two bugs. The one with the wood grain sides only comes in this pack.

I was at a friend of a friends house and he had a sign with his last name on it. Thought it looked cool and wanted to make one that said hot wheels. Only had to find a couple for letters I didn’t have. If I make another one I will try to find a plate that has the H for the first letter and a S for the last letter so I don’t have to add the ends. I wanted a plate with a car on it to put between the words but couldn’t find one.

Browsing marketplace last night and a guy had that Delorean hover mode listed. Not the TH version.

I met up with him this morning snagged a couple of others he had in the photos.
