02 prerunner replacement part compatibility/worth it mods

Thank you for having me; I’m new here.
I have a bunch of topics that I would like experienced advice on but foremost (for the safety of my husband & kids) are headrests.
Are prerunners just considered Tacomas for threads and replacement part descriptions?
I need headrests (front and back) asap. I’ve literally spent two months searching variations of “2002 Toyota prerunner headrests” and nothing.
The only stuff that comes up is 4Runner or Tacoma. Are either of those from the same time compatible with the prerunner?
What am I doing wrong?

I said it in my profile but I can do basic stuff like oil, tires, batteries so if there are any mods that you can with that level of skill I’m all ears. Would love to have a little more getup and go, make it look a little tougher, replace the bumpers, headlights, and grill type stuff.

It has been immaculately maintained and really needs just some cosmetic upgrades.

BESIDES HEADRESTS. NEED YESTERDAY. How in the heck do I find those (I’ve exhausted local pull places, local eBay sales, even Toyota dealerships have brushed me off and won’t answer my compatibility questions -not their job but help a girl out!) so any help appreciated!

Obviously, I’m trying to educate myself as much as possible but definitely still in the complete newb group. I’ll take any constructive criticism though, just please don’t be mean.
