5 days in since mounting OME 886 springs on my 5100s and good so far. I looked hard at how the spring sat in the spring seat and it sat straighter than my previous 620 lb. Toytecs and 586 lb. Dobinsons, both of which were progressions as I added steel skid package, then steel sliders, then alum bumper/winch. Adjusting Bilstein circlip as I went for lift height.
I read years of threads mixing 2 and 3 Gens and 2 and 3 Gen Bilsteins and armor weight. Smooth ride with the weight for this combo.

Edit: Now settling in at 22.5", hub center to fender.
Edit: After twice refining alignment to correct a passenger drift, I removed my driver side 1/4" tophat spacer and instead raised the driver side circlip one notch. This change eliminated the passenger side drift and the front remains level across.
Edit: To see if I could drop the front a little more, I dropped the driver side 5100 circlip and installed a polymer coil isolator under the driver side tophat and a rubber coil isolator on passenger side. I also slid a 1 mm rubber coil seat isolator on the driver side coil seat. By measurement, the driver side coil is compressed an extra 3 mm than the passenger coil (plus the passenger rubber squish) to lift up the driver side a bit more than passenger side. Now, both sides sit at 22.5" hub center to fender, all the time, and occasionally at 22.25". My leafs sit rear at 23-23.25" and I really wanted to maintain some rake for hauling compression.
6-20-25 edit- hub center to fender edge has dropped to 22.25", even 22" at times.

Prior to the bumper and winch install, I had my Bilstein 5100s set to the 1.1" circlip with the Toytec 620 lb springs, to ride at 22" center of hub to fender edge.

After install, the front drooped 1/2" down to 21.5". I debated whether to adjust the Bilsteins up another notch or two, to keep the front over 22", or go for the longer and stronger OME 886 springs. I opted to go for it and see where 886s settle out.
