I'll be avoiding Precision Tune Auto Care in North Raleigh North Carolina—per the potential fire hazard that was under my hood.

I paid them to install a new OEM radiator, and when I checked their work after I left, I found ATF fluid soaked throughout the engine bay! When I brought it back immediately, the staff shrugged it off—“It probably won’t hurt anything. Just come back in a few days when the mechanic is back in.”
Yeah, no. ATF is flammable. I love my truck, so I cleaned it up myself with Dawn and water. I used soapy water in a spray bottle and sprayed it on the oil and then rinsed it off with plain water. I also noticed they left my transmission critically low on fluid. So I had to top that off too. These are photos of the aftermath of my clean-up - Theres still some oil in the engine bay and I will do another round of soapy water. Its much better now but I couldn't believe how much oil they spilled...

And this isn’t just me—this shop appears to have a track record of negligence. A year ago, a customer posted this after a simple oil change:
Beware… here's my car after I brought it back to their lot the day after they changed the oil... it was smoking and burst into flames ... USAA’s report said oil was everywhere in the engine compartment. They lawyered up and went radio silent.

Thankfully I caught this massive oil spill and cleaned it up before as I could be unlucky like the guy above. I definitely dodged a bullet here, but I still wanted to let their customer service know this was a recurring issue. Instead of taking responsibility, they just wanted me to bring it in so they could look at it and cover their asses. I informed them that I cleaned up the oil spill myself and wanted them to be aware of the issue and also asked for a partial refund or concession—this was denied. Not trying to throw shade here just looking out for all Carolinians - they were well rated too but I found out the hard way.

It's almost like you should do this for free on the floor like I did

and not spend money, time, and miles, taking your vehicle to shitty shops with shitty names like Precision Tune Auto Care, and shitshow written right in their header first thing that comes up on google "Chain auto shop offering oil changes, brake repairs, and other maintenance services."
