From my experience with past stt pros, they are quite loud. ive ran the rugged treks on another vehicle and they are silent. You will lose a couple mpg, more if you’re not tuned as the gear hunting will be even worse.

So on the other end of the spectrum then. How well will my SL rated rugged treks do off-road in rocky terrain in Arizona? Should I be concerned that my sidewalks aren’t strong enough?

    Thank you!

One of the guys in our group a couple weeks ago had a FJ with 37" STT Pros that performed awesome! FJ was red and black too!

Go E, SL are only 3 ply and E are 10 ply. Airing down a lil is a good idea too. Having lived in Phx, and hitting the desert, SL get punctured easily on jagged rocks it’s not the side walls you have to worry about, it’s more with the tread thickness. SL is more for local on road or light trails which are smoother if that makes sense.

It does but the rugged treks in sl have a deep aggressive tread on them even though they are sl rated.

Why did @Discount Tire (America’s tire where I’m at) stop selling these for size 37x12.50r17?

265/70 just installed. Major upgrade over the Terra Grappler G2s that my truck came with.
