IAC replaced 3 times...

    Suddenly check engine light came on took the truck to have the scanner on it showed IAC it's a 2001 Toyota Tacoma standard transmission replaced it 3 times already reset/relearn it after 40 came on second time after 100 miles . third time at 50 miles.checked gasket, water line everything seems to be ok any one with the same issue?

    I could probably figure it out.
    That would would take skimming over the FSM for IAC codes.

    Don't remember the code number but it's the IAC and bought it at the auto parts based on that code checked all vacuum hoses no leaks checked all the wiring check voltages ohms resets relearns so far still same code same engine light

    2001 Toyota Tacoma 3.4 V6.
    first bought at O'Reilly's.got my money refunded second at eBay returned, third at auto zone. reading here did all necessary steps to verify it's not the valve
