4-7" forecasted up her with 3/16" of ice by 7pm tomorrow. So that means were getting 1" then rain lol

 

Good afternoon CT. Snowing pretty heavily down here.

I decided not to do my control arms. I'll order all the parts I need for the front end and do it in one day. I don't want to have to take the truck apart multiple times.

I did start on the harness for the compressor. Went with 12 gauge because I couldn't get a good crimp on the 10 gauge wire for the relay.

Well, it was coming down pretty good for about an hour. Now it's just flurries and we only have about an inch on the ground.

Rain came and washed away what little snow we got.



1 to 3 inches. Weather.com also says 1 to 3 inches.

I think I'll take a ride to Autozone later and pick up the strut mounts (

$29 KYB SM5640 - Mount Kit

KYB SM5640) and order the other stuff I need online.

 

Driveway cleaned up. What a sloppy, heavy mess!! Cleaned the door seal at the bottom of the garage door and sprayed it with some Fluid Film to keep it from sticking to the concrete when the temperature drops tonight.

Already cleaned the thick layer of ice off the driveway.

 

4 inches of snow last night. Freezing rain since then. Coming down heavy right now.
Cleared the driveway of snow at 10 last night.
Solid 1/2 inch of ice on the driveway. Salted and sanded and breaking up pretty good.
I'll clean the rest up later when the ice machine stops.
Ice buildup on the trees is bad. pine branches are reaching the ground. Ain't gonna be pretty when the winds crank up later.
I hear tree limbs in the woods cracking already.

 

Got 1" of snow overnight. Slushy mess this a.m. Not cold enough here east of Hartford to ice up yet so everything is only wet....so far.

 

Slow and sloppy drive this morning but got to Farmington with no issues. Three cars off the road during that drive. Only one car off the road driving home around noon time.

 

I'll guess at least one was an Altima with a space saver spare on one corner

 

Horrible out there this AM, almost 40 degrees and calm now... 30-50 mph winds incoming

 

Infiniti sedan, older minivan and I think another sedan this morning. It was definitely a mess so I didn't spend too much time looking at the crash. Come to think of it though, I saw another two car crash on the drive home.

 

It’s been hovering around 32F all day with rain. Waiting on the big freeze.

 

Couple big limbs broke near my driveway. Just moved my truck an hour earlier.
All ice up here today.

 

Really hoping the wind isn't bad.

All this ice on the trees that didn't melt during the day is freaking me out.
