    Hello All,
I have a 2025 4TH Generation Toyota Tacoma, and the fuel gauge is stuck on full. This condition has existed since I brought home the vehicle and always reads full no matter what amount of fuel is in the tank. The procedure shown on Page 90 of the owner's manual absolutely does not work in any way, nor as described by a service technician. What are the possible causes of this malfunction and how is it repaired? This cannot be a permanent condition as it's undriveable for long distances now. I drove several other 4TH generation Tacoma's and none of them exhibited this failure mode. Is a software (or firmware) update required?
UPDATE: This is a known issue with Toyota and apparently a software updates in in the works.

    Part it out.

Or, drive it to the dealer you purchased it from and have them correct it. Welcome.
