This also happened on our outing Wednesday. Pretty sure my buddy didn't fully reseat the valve stem core after airing down. Air must have been slowly leaking out all day, then the tire came off the bead. He has aftermarket wheels with special lug nuts, and couldn't find the socket for them. Had to take my truck to town, get a specialty lug nut kit and drive back to put the spare on. By the time we drove out, it was 11pm and temps were below zero.
A good adventure! And some lessons were learned.
