If you happened to be inside when it let loose down the hill that would be a bad ride.

Not the Carfax no but I ran the vin against something on the interwebs and it said clear. The price did seem too good to be true though. There are salvage titled 2024's out there of that trim for as much or more than they were asking.

I think so, they can't really afford to walk me out since I'm the only one with certifications. But if they do, so be it

Sorry to threadjack all. Stay the course Evo you made a good decision sounds like. I was in the middle of clearing my schedule this week and seriously looking at flying to Portland Maine, it's a good reminder my deal radar is active. Gotta keep my eyes peeled and be better prepared to jump.

I don't really think it is possible to thread jack in here. :fistbump:

The battery in the kids' car died again. He got it jumped at school and drove it home so at least I could work on it in a 25 degree garage instead of -6/-19 outside.

This being the second time this has happened, I figured I'd cut my losses and just buy a new battery so a $205 trip to Costco it was.

The original battery is pretty much frozen solid. I'm assuming it's from him starting it up and driving it all of 6 blocks to work when it's this stinking cold out that brought the charge down so when the temperature drops, the battery freezes and dies.

It's in my basement thawing out then we'll see if it holds a charge or if it's dead dead. If it's dead, I'm getting my core charge back. If it holds a charge, I'll keep it around as a spare for him just in case.
