I am new to the truck world and told myself I want to get to more into auto mechanics in general. This is my first truck and nice vehicle and I want to take best care of it as possible

I have just purchased this truck and noticed these screws missing. Is this cause for concern and where can I get replacements? What size and what torque?

thank you all for your help

Those look like where the nubs(lack of better description) for the missing plastic engine cover would hold on to..Did previous owner discard the cover?

    What year model and engine?

It would help us a lot.
We could actually go look at our trucks and see.

These engines/motors are used in various vehicles with slight modifications. The "missing" bolts are not missing, just not used on your vehicle. Nothing to worry about. In time you will find a lot more open places for bolts, nuts and wiring connectors that seem unused.
