Likely the cap did that all by itself since the stock leafs are notoriously weak. Mine was the same when I bought it cap included only 3 years used. An AAL is a good fire and forget solution but how much it sags in the future will depend entirely on how you load it. If you run with a few hundred pounds or less along with the cap it should be fine but much over that on a consistent basis and it will just sag again so you’d be better off with new HD leaf packs matched to your expected loads. I went with bags and like them but they aren’t the best solution for everyone.

Looking for a final set of advice on everything before I buy it all:

    Fat Bobs 5 Lug Lift
    • 2.75 inch Front Spacer
    • 1.75 inch Rear Add a Leaf
4600 Front Shocks - are these strictly the only two options? For left and right?
    5100 Rear Shocks
    • Now is this where any 5100 rear pair will work?? Or do I need a specific set?
    Wheels & Tires
    • Looking to fit 32/11.5/R15. Does this seem reasonable? Need to do black box mod and roll over as well.
    • Cragar Soft 8s w/ -13mm offset and 4" backspace

i know the orignal post here states that the icon 2.5 coilovers were the only ones to be used with the total chaos mid travel upper control arms but ive been trying to read everything i can about these little trucks and it looks like this guy found another way, curios if anyone can tell me any more about this set up with the sway away coilovers? not sure what a heims spacer is, i know its a long shot to find the control arms, but im curios, if was able to find a pair of the ucas, would these sway away and heims parts needed to run what this guys got still be available? im sure if it were so easy id see more pics of trucks set up like this? any thoughts?

ive messaged a few people i know are still active but ill post here anyway, ive been doing some work for a cnc factory, and the guy seems willing to help me recreate the tc ucas, not for mass production or anything but hopefully we can make a few sets, hes got some 3d scanner robot arm thing that gets all the exact details (its over my head im not sure how to explain it) but basically if anyone that has a set of the TC mid travel UCAs is willing to have their truck down breifly to let us use them to scan maybe we can get some forawrd progress in getting something back on the market for our trucks, or make it easier for diyers. anyway im in southern cali, anyone that may be able to help send me a message. sway away steve from afe has mentioned to me he has interest in making some shocks for the 5 lug as well, maybe if we can get some of the UCAs made we can nudge afe into bringing back the 6 inch stroke coil over? regardless im going to try and make something happen but any help would be apreciated
