    I have been digging around here for a bit and just want a straight answer. If I install these outside mirrors https://parts.camelbacktoyota.com/oem-parts/toyota-door-mirror-left-8794004240 that have heater and turn lamps will they have complete functionality on my ‘22 SR? I ask cause my SR was prewired for the fogs and bed lights, does the wiring have a few more tricks up its sleeve. Pictures of my factory connections below.

    I would think the turn signal light would be fine to make sure just turn on the blinker and check to see if it flashes with a test light. As far as the heater you will probably have to add the on/off switch in your dash.

    I’m sure some guys with more knowledge than myself will chime in.

    Turn signals - don’t know.
    Heater - does your SR have heated mirrors?

    (button between 4wd and temp dial)

    Then for the turn signal, use a multimeter or a test lamp to see if you are getting any current when your blinker is on. Can’t see the heat needing five wires.

    Nope:
    The other three wires are the remote mirror control. He has no extra wires on that connector. If the vehicle had turn signal capability the wires would be next to the three wires that are together.

    @EatingTacosinmyTaco22

    Let's start over: Your second picture with the connector I believe now is the wire that goes to your existing mirror, the connector on the door is what you should be looking at as that is the source of all power and signals. Does the connector mounted to the door have 5 or 7 wires? Particularly an extra Blue wire and a White wire with a black tracer. Oh, and perhaps one of the black wires is a White wire with a black tracer also.

    Your first picture I have no idea what you are trying to show with it.

    Please clarify.

    Edit:
    @t0p_d0g and I see the same thing.

    The first picture is the wiring from the door to the plug for the mirror. The one with the two plugs, is my connector to the mirror itself. Since they are 5 wires to 5 wires I shouldn’t have turn signal capabilities correct?

    Nope, no turn signal wiring.
