Upper oil pan removal 2nd gen

    I searched but found no good answer to my problem.

    I've gotten all the bolts out I believe. How in the world do you separate the pan from the block? I got the lower oil pan removed with a thin-ish chisel to break the seal and then it popped off. I am having no such luck on the upper oil pan.

    Big thing is make sure the 10mm are removed from the rear near the flex plate, they cause a lot of headaches.

    I usually get my biggest bar and work around prying down where ever you can, the slots are great but only allow a few spots.

    I believe I pry down on the ac bracket as well.

    I need to replace mine - have yet to find a good resource- did you take engine out? Unclear what needs to come out to get access to the bolts

    I’ve not done the job. But the front differential is all in the way.
    You either need to lift the engine up some, or drop the front differential down.
    Or at least that’s what it looks like……
