Stock with a camper shell for now.
I have a quick question for you all, I replaced the bearing in the diff for the bushing and noticed yesterday that the metal shield on the cv is sticking past or out from the cast dif metal by about an 1/8 inch should that ride within the housing of the dif and there for the cv bushing needs to be driven in more to allow the cv shaft to ride further in the dif? Hopefully that makes sense.

I just did my ECGS bushing install this past weekend.

The bushing needs to be all the way in, flush with the inner face of the diff. There is a very distinct feel in the hammer when the bushing has bottomed out.

I did this, and I just went outside to check on my truck, and the metal shield on my cv axle is spaced away from the diff by about an 1/8th of an inch, so you are good.
