    Long Story:

Just wanted to leave a quick review of this winter tire since I haven't found a dedicated thread. As the title states, I helped a guy out on I70 about 2.5 miles from the tunnel. Roads were in some of the worst conditions I've been on in awhile. It happens when a lot of snow falls really quickly, melts, and turns into this snot shit that is neither slush or packed powder. It's gross.

I first had to push his truck so mine could get around him. This should tell you how slick it was. He was loaded up with construction equipment in the back with decent all terrain tires, 2WD though. When I was pushing I was able to slide his rear end sideways fairly easily. It wasn't until another came and helped that we could move it up hill. Where I was parked it was due to a couple of other stuck cars and a wrecker that pulled ahead and blocked me in. It was basically a free for all at this point on I70.

Once we hooked up his chain to my bumper I just started pulling. Never lost traction even when his truck was fish-tailing behind me for a short section. He had decent tires and a heavy construction load in the back, but still only 2WD. Passed a couple of semi trucks with chains that were struggling and left him at the top.

Unfortunately, on the way down, just past the tunnel, a Subaru brake checked too hard and went off the road into the ditch on the left. They looked fine though, just in deep. There were probably about 7-8 cops, two firetrucks, at lest two ambulances, and a few other rescue vehicles out or headed up in the opposite direction.

I believe Blizzaks would have done well too, but the deep tread pattern on the Coppers I think helped in this mud like snow slush. Wasn't too mad that I saved a little money on these too. I'll try and find it on my dash cam and add it later.

    Short Story:

Pulled a F150 2.5 miles in real shitty snow conditions up to the Eisenhower Tunnel and never lost traction.
