Oh darn it, I thought I was going to get off easy. I was also emailing with Accutune this morning and they recommended fox 2.5, which I think they can tune for the camper weight.

    I’m mostly looking for on-road performance…

Yeah doesn’t sound like that’ll be an option. Trying to stay stick tire size/height at this point if it’s an option. Thanks for your thoughts!

Accutune is biased with Fox. Fox, King, ADS. All are good. Just avoid Icon.

For his uses, Icon’s are valved wrong. Digressive valving which is softer at high speeds. With a camper on, I’d prefer having progressive / linear shocks that firm up with speed.

Also most of my friends that either rebuild shocks or own a shop have confirmed Icon’s are inferior build quality. I had a new set in 2018 or 2019, it leaked. So bad experience for me right then and just never touched them again. Everyone has their own opinion though this is just mine.

I have had 4 sets of Kings though and all have been perfect. I run them now on my Tundra w/ a camper.
