That's a horrible idea. What time?
We are about to join the retirement travel folks. Submitting my paperwork and hope to be out before the holidays. So we can not travel.

Excellent, do enjoy your well earned time. It will take a little while but I suspect like me, you very quickly
will become an expert at doing nothing at all. Or building grill-houses off the patio, or building outdoor furniture,
exploring DSLR Camera's.... washing and waxing the vehicles more than they need.

You have a camera installed somewhere? Woodworking is the hobby, new house in the planning stages, rebuilding my desk now, outdoor kitchen on the build list for the new house, and a neighbor once told me to be careful or I'd wash the paint off the truck.

Haha no I carry my Nikon D7200 coupled with a Sigma 100-400mm lens just about everywhere I go -
Gives me reason to see what's down this road or around the curve.... a rattler?... a tarantula?... bigfoot?...
When the weather isn't an issue ( it was like 113 this week ) I go out almost daily for small strolls in the desert.

Wife built me an outdoor grill-house near-attached to an outdoor prep station with gas-burner and sink...
Then she build an outdoor spot for the Ooni-Pro-16 for wood-fired pizza... she does good work.

Looks good. We'll see how ours develops after we get the rest in. I'm looking more for a grill and smoker combo with some prep area.

We'll keep that in mind. I haven't been back to NC since I was stationed there in Havelock. We're moving to TN in the spring so that might be a nice getaway once we're settled.
