Thank you for the warm welcome! My name is Ken And i have a 2016 tacoma sport long bed. I love my truck and always had toyota truck even before. I bought this truck when the 3rd gen first came out and now i have unbelievable roof paint issue of fading/peeling which looks really horrible. I have other vehicles which are at least 5-6 yrs older and not a single one has anything remotely close to a paint issue. I have never park any of my cars indoors coz our garage is used as storage for other things. I visited toyota dealers and called and emailed toyota corporate and they said and lied this was a none issue!! I have 2 other friends with 2018 tacomas with wayyy worse paint issues than mine! Anybody have paint issues that toyota has acknowleged and taken care of? Just wondering. I love my truck and am thinking of having the whole truck repainted! By the way, whats the best looking second gen tacoma shell or top out there?

 

Welcome to TW! Toyota has had paint issues for years, I don’t think you’ll get any help from Toyota.
