Body part compatibility 2012 hilux to tacoma

    More than i can type on this tiny keyboard.
    Hi all,
    Possibly first time for me to post, but been member in the shadows for quite a while.
    Just bought a 2012 Hilux w/3.0 liter TD and love it. Got a few things to sort out but in general i am stoked. I have a ‘02 taco in states and it has been awesome in so many ways.
    My question is does anyone have a general guiding rule on cross compatibility between the 2012 tacoma and Hilux? It appears the body and interior is identical but not 100%.
    My hilux needs a few interior parts and pieces due simply to age/use and definitely easier for me to purchase in the USA and bring down when i can.
    Any info is appreciated.
