    I've added sound deadening to the doors, it has helped. Made the doors sound better while closing.

    I put SecondSkin damplifier pro 2mm on the inner doors. It made a big improvement on sound quality and a better "thud" when closing the doors.

    I've owned this 2017 going on 9 years and recently switched to 91 octane this past month. I can't believe I drove this truck on 87 octane for 9 years.

    The truck runs smoother, accelerates and idles better and mpg has improved a little with 91.

    I think the older trucks were build more sturdy, not near as comfortable but build stronger. A few years ago I hit a car head-on with my 79 Chevy stepside and it totaled his car and I replaced my bumper. Now days anything more than a fender bender and it’s totaled. And what another poster stated, vehicles now are computers on 4 wheels.

    That early 90's Cummings was a bad ass truck coupled with the Alison transmission …sure, hard to stop it if you missed the weekly brake service appointment.
