Noticed yesterday on my 2009 that once the engine is at operating temp, the idle, which normally jumps between 600-700 rpm, dips down low when stopped to 400ish and recovers jumping to 800-900 rpm and sporadically repeats trying to balance. Its a manual transmission. Not throwing any codes. Hooked up my diagnostic tool to see the sensors and data but nothing really standing out as odd...I did notice that if I turn the AC compressor on, it extra added idle signal from ECU seems to negate the sagging idle... Welp, I got my new Kicker CS series 6.75" speakers and dyno-matting installed today in doors so I will dismantle the throttle body, clean that puppy and add a can of sea foam to see what comes...

I’d clean the throttle body and MAF.

Please share your results. My 2017 does something similar; and like yours, the CEL is not illuminated and there are no DTCs.

I cleaned out the throttle body with cleaner and a toothbrush a week ago but was lazy and I didn't remove the throttle body to clean. My results haven't changed, my weekend starts in the AM so I will pull the truck back I to the garage and do a more thorough job tomorrow...

So I'm still dealing with this issue after the 2nd throttle body clean. We had some snow and I was driving in 4WD High last week and finally threw a P2433 code: Secondary air injection system air flow/Pressure sensor circuit High (Bank 1). I read the code but did not clear it. I drove another 80-100 miles and the fault cleared itself. I'm thinking that MAF sensor might be going out...

170k. The inake manifold was oily-dirty inside when I took it apart for the bypass coolant line about 1.5 years ago and I cleaned all that crap out. Thanks vavoline for not closing my air filter box correctly...never again...anywho, it ran a little better then normal after that I noticed... I normally get a code thrown after the throttle body clean as the MAF still seems to see a little reside initially throwing it off but clears quickly...
