I just did 5.29 and e locker. Looking to move up to 35s. But need help choosing offset. I'm going with BFG ko3 tires. 35x12.5

I know I have to chop the cab, very comfortable with that part. Probably need to move the washer tank too.

But i don't want to get stuck with wheels that won't work.

Is -12 enough? I think .5 is about as big as a spacer as I'd feel comfortable running. Not a big fan of wheel spacers, rather just get the offset right.

Enough to clear the frame, and minimize cutting of the firewall. I'm ok with cutting, but rather not lose a ton of footspace.

You will have to cut no matter what. It just comes down to how much and where. The more offset more of the fenders less offset more interior area. When fitting 35s all you can do is pick the wheel you want, mount them and start cutting till the clear thru the full cycle of the suspension.
