IMG_7534.jpg IMG_7535.jpg Hi! I am wondering what this L shaped valve is that’s hiding on the back of my truck inside of the engine. I will circle it in the pictures. I’ve noticed my Tacoma is losing power going up hills and I’ve been looking at the vacuum system. I’m worried this is something that is missing a line? Can someone enlighten me?
I wish I could get a better picture but it’s really down there below this stuff.

Is it a hose? Looks like the drain to me for the A/C coil. Is it flexible?

It is flexible! It is located right below a coil and coming out of the front of the truck (so far back of the engine bay).

It is not attached to anything from what I can see. It just comes out of the metal.

It’s the in-cabin drain for moisture that condenses from running the air conditioning.

Many people extend it because it drips on the rain and causes rust.

From your photos, it looks like you have a pre-2003 V6, with no ABS, but you do have cruise control and an automatic transmission.

What else do you want me to figure out?
