I don't have a Tacoma, but lots of mirrors!
Hey all! It's about time we got these Gentex Homelink® mirror upgrades available for you 2024 & 2025 Tacoma owners! If your truck was equipped with the factory auto dimming mirror, we have plug & play upgrades now available for your truck. And if your truck came with a manual dimming mirror, but did come with the 5 pin / 3 wire "option connector" (this is commonly used for the optional Action Camera), we have plug & play options for these as well, both for trucks with and unused connector or with an occupied connector. And by chance if anyone has a 2025 4Runner, these same options will work in the new 6th gen 4Runner's as well!

Pricing & ordering links are as follows:
    Frameless autodim w/green compass, backlit buttons & Homelink® V5 (new only) $319.99

Interesting. So these are a plug and play replacement for the auto dim mirror on the non premium models? And they are a direct replacement on the 4th gen without a bunch of malarkey? There's that bigass plastic thing above my mirror that holds the bionic driving eye.

Correct...these are direct replacements on the 2024's that are equipped with the autodim-only mirror from the factory, without a bunch of malarkey :D

Tagging this. I was definitely disappointed to find that the standard Off road option pack did not include Homelink with the auto dimming mirror like my 2021 did. I would have to purchase the premium option pack for that single function and a digital mirror with a whole slew of stuff I do not care about nor care to pay for. Looking forward to replacing the autodimming mirror to get Homelink.

Unfortunately we don't, sorry! But we've had quite a few '24 Tacoma owners purchase these & heard back from a few saying how easy it was. I'm sure someone here can pipe in & give some tips on the install. Usually on most new vehicles, it involves removing a black cover/shroud that is on the windshield surrounding the mirror & then you just need a T-20 Torx screwdriver to loosen the screw & slide the mirror off the mount & unplug it.

Thanks for the info. I did go search on YouTube and there are some similar truck arrangements with disassembly videos. I will order from site for TW users in the next couple of weeks.

The mirror replacement I ordered from Bob's Automotive Mirrors @RJP869 was pretty much turn-key. I did watch a couple of Chloe Kuo videos because she has pulled apart the upper windshield (mirror electronics cowl) assembly on her 3G and 2024 Tacoma to install a dash cam. The original mirror is easily released after loosening a T-20 Torx screw. The only thing I could not figure out what how to release the clip holder from the wire harness on the original mirror. It was not essential to the install, the clip just attaches to a post, but nothing moves around much anyway. The Tacoma mirror wire harness clips into the new mirror, and it powers up with the engine running.

There are multiple methods to connect Homelink devices. The remote method of hooking up Homelink does not work for my older garage door opener, but the second method using the link button on the garage door motor assembly connected and works properly. I appreciate being able to have an aftermarket solution and not having to spend a bunch of money on gizmos I did not need. Thanks BOB!

As for Chloe, I appreciate her disassembly of the two plastic cowl pieces around the mirror (about 4:00 minutes in). And, now I want a dash cam.
