    Hello everyone,

I have a 2012 Tacoma that’s starting to show frame rust. I have been really lucky this far but one section in the middle of the frame is starting to spread apart. I have been on the fence about fluid film or cosmoline. How would you recommend I treat this section of the frame first before I apply any protectant? Rust converter?

My truck is doing the same thing. I just scraped out all the loose bits as best as I could and sprayed the crap out of it with fluid film. Where mine did it was on the driver side next to the gas tank. Couldnt see it until I had my tank out while installing a fuel pump
