Think they will total it?

 

What happened? It doesn't look total unless you got frame damage? Just driver side door, front quarter panel, bumper, maybe hood and lights.

 

Air bags deploy?

I think it may be okay. My guess, not a total loss.

So sorry for you brother and I assume and hope everyone is okay! I too think it's repairable, but I also think it will be close.

 

Second picture, it didn't look good. Could be buckled A pillar, and front wheel pushed back. Could be an optical illusion because the tire was deflated, but that could be caused by the front suspension was moved.

Hard to say.

 

Ya, I think it comes down to the airbags...

It hard to tell now a days with how expensive things are now. Is the backseat window busted out, or is it just rolled down?

 

If the air bags deploy it's over. Insurance would rather just total it. Was told that in my situation with a Rav4. Only rear curtain air bag deployed. Figured only needed new rear door and quarter......Totalled it

 

Fish-tailed on a snowy road and went into the ditch. I hit a drainage culvert.

 

No deployment.

 

Busted out.

 

With those REPTORRRRRR lights, it’s a total loss.

In all my years as a forum's insurance adjuster, my magic 8 ball says bent frame, totaled, check for $31k is in the mail. Next unsuspecting buyer of a suspiciously low asking price on a gently used truck when a few new, painted misaligned panels, that makes weird noises and never drives quite straight is stuck with that problem.
