Hello to all, some help if you can on a matter.
My truck is just over the 60k mileage mark. I preformed a drain and fill today. Did not go exactly as planned. Most of the YouTube videos I had watched, showed the fill plug high on the side of the transmission and draining about 3 quarts of fluid out.

First issue, my fill plug is further back on tail section. Next, I only drained 2 quarts out from the drain and over-flow plugs.

I added about all of 3 quarts bottles to the fill port. Then started truck, cycling transmission between forward and reverse. I used a OBS scan tool, blue-tooth with the Torque app. When transmission pan temperature hit 95F I removed over-flow plug. Drained until there was a tickle of fluid and then reinserted plug. According to drain bucket I used, an additional 1/2 pint came out of the over-flow means I have about 3/4 of a quart more fluid than I started with.

Guessing more videos are 4 wheel drive than 2 wheel like mine.
Has anyone noticed these issues with your trucks? Fill port location and transmission low fluid from the factory.
One additional item, fill plug o-ring. I purchased an o-ring # 90301-A0041 based on info I had found in the forums. The new o-ring did not look correct, so I reused mine.
