    Hello, I'm from Houston.
Interested in upgrading a few performance items. Like the ripp coil packs, the injen cai system. I just installed a 9drive throttle controller. And it threw a brake malfunction error message and disabled the pre collision sensor as well. I plugged in the jumper first then the module. Anyone have any ideas?

Kind of disappointed with the "blackout" package. Why was there a chrome rear bumper and a chrome grille bezel. Lol

    Welcome!

There are probably people who truly know more than me, but from what I’ve understood, there’s no need at all to replace the parts you’re mentioning. The Tacoma comes stock with a CAI that pulls air from outside of the fender, whereas most aftermarket CAI’s actually pull air from under the hood, which is of course hot.

Willing to bet that your code is due to the throttle controller. If you want better shift points and a little more pep from the pedal, many people on here like the OTT Tune and I’m planning on getting it done later on down the line. There are also a lot of threads on here talking about issues with Pedal Commanders and other throttle controllers, and these problems can leave you stranded on the side of the road. I could absolutely be wrong, but best of luck sorting it all out.
