I attempted to wire up a back up cam to an existing aftermarket head unit. As I was pulling out the head unit, some wiring (that was shittily spliced) came apart. While trying to figure that out, I kept hearing clicking, like a relay clicking on and off. Not sure what it was. Now, my low beam headlights don’t work. The radio and camera are going to be a seperate problem lol

Is there anything to do with the headlights within the wiring behind the stereo? All of my fuses are good, bulbs are good, I’m going to try new relays tomorrow. Everything was working normally before I started messing with the radio. Anyone got any ideas??

Do you have a test light or voltage meter?
See if the Low Beam fuses are getting power.

I have both. Just check each of the 4 10a fuse slots?

Are you sure the ECU-B fuse is good?

You can check the fuses with them installed.
There are 2 little bare spots on top of each fuse.
That's what they are there for, to check them.

The reason they have two spots, it to see if you have power on both sides of the fuse.:)

Headlight fuses are getting 12v, ECUB is getting 12v, and I tested the headlight socket itself, nothing for low beam and 12v for high beam. If it’s not getting power to the socket, what could that be?

So the HEAD (LO LH) and the HEAD (LO RH) fuses have power on both sides but no power at Pin 1 (Red/Black) on the right and Pin 1 (Red/Yellow) on the left connector?

Are you certain? I can't see how both wires would have gotten broken.

If you pull back on the headlight switch to flash the lights?
    What happens?

    Some thing isn't right here.
    We are missing something....

Okay I may have mistaken you lol I tested the 3 connectors that plug directly to the bulb. Where do I find the yellow/red and red/black wires?

The brights will come on but the high beam indicator won’t. If I turn the low beams on, the high beam indicator comes on, but no lights.

The wire for the left (Red/Yellow) goes directly from the fuse to the bulb connector, the wire for the right (Red/Black) goes through the underhood junction connector (2A) then to the headlight connector.

I'm trying to figure out how it's doing what he said in the last post.
Looks like the diode should prevent that......
But anyways, let's focus on the wires for now.

Pin #1 on the left side head light would be the easiest to "test".
    And give us more info.

Also, use the battery negative post for testing.
Since it's right there. Nothing beats the battery for a reference.

Okay I’m getting 12v to the pin you pictured without my headlight harness. Plugged in an old bulb and it worked. Plugged my harness back in with 2 new relays and I’m still not getting power to that pin. So the problem is somewhere in the harness.

Wait, what do you mean your harness? You have aftermarket lights?

Shit yeah I’m sorry, totally slipped my mind, I have a harness that plugs into the stock wiring to run higher powered bulbs. I was just double checking everything and it seemed that one of the wires to the relays had slipped out of the housing so it wasn’t giving power to the harness. So my low beams come on normally now. But it still shows my high beam indicator on and when I flip brights on, the indicator turns off.

What if you unplug ypur harnesses and plug in normal bulbs?
