I recently replaced my stock headlights on my 2016 TRD Sport with Toyota OEM LED's (P/N 81150-04290 & 81110-04290).
I used the adapter harness from FBC Harness. Everything works great and I'm very happy with the look, quality (lights & harness) and light output. Much better on dark, wooded roads on my commute.
Is there an option/way to have DRL's with these?

Are you looking for a different color DRL? That I have no idea about. These lights have a DRL. At least my OEM PROs that I swapped in do. The DRL on these is just the same color as the headlights. If connected properly, the two outer horizontal “u” shaped bands/ the turn signals are the DRLs.

I guess what I'm asking is that anytime I start the vehicle, shouldn't the DRL's be on regardless of switch/stalk position? I'm used to my old headlights producing a lot of DRL light when I start it.

No full time DRL with the headlight switch in the off position for me with OEM LEDs. If I want just the U shaped light, I can leave the headlight switch in the first position and it will always be on like a DRL. The lights will automatically turn off after exiting the vehicle if you leave the switch in any on position.

IIRC, stalk needs to be in the DRL or Auto mode for the C-shaped DRL to turn on.
If you do not have Auto setting on the stock, switch needs to be in the DRL mode.

I will look today but I think I can turn my DRL on and off by the headlight switch and in the settings of the infotainment system.

Yes, radio has setting for the DRL. It might over-ride the stalk setting, ie like a master switch making not available on any stalk setting.

With my Pro (I’m always using auto) the drl's don’t turn on when I start the engine, only come on after engaging a gear, after that they’re always on.

My DLRs in those lights come on when the stalk switch is set to DRL and the emergency brake lever is released.

(I’m only using the quote as a reference)
My 22 sr5 and 22 Pro only have a 'drl off' switch. Moreover, using the 'auto' light selector the Sr5 drl's come on when I start the engine (and as previously mentioned, the Pro drl lights only come on after I engage a gear on the tranny selector).

Thanks. Did not know this. I’ll have to dig around for that setting.

Well...I took it to a body shop. I was going to give it a try again the next day but I decided I was at a point of frustration that the probability of breaking something was high. Didn't help that the temps were in the 30's. Body shop guy had a warm shop and the experience to do it correctly.

First click on the stalk for DRL and parking brake has to be released.

I’m glad it worked out you definitely didn’t need to break anything.
