I finally found the sign cabinet for my 3' x 12' Suzuki sign. BUT it takes weird length fluorescent bulbs. 2x ~80" bulbs and 2x ~60". I'm really leaning toward just putting 2x6ft or 3x4ft led shop lights. Do y'all think they'll be bright (and uniform) enough?

I would go with an array of LEDs for sure. You might need a diffuser over the light strips.

Those old sign bulbs are actually more common than you think. I used to sell them (and the ballast) at the old building supply I used to work at. Local community college and school district used to buy them. They actually sell LED conversion bulbs for them if you don't want to bother with the shop light retrofit.

Hmm, are you sure it's 80" and not 72"? I know they make 80 watt bulbs (F64's I want to say?).

You can get led strip and cut in 80"... then you can control the led brightness from your phone..

I put led strip in the vault ceiling in the middle all the way across.

Or you can put led strip on the wall all the way around... up to you... even you can design on your own.

Bulbs go away soon since leds are popular with smart home kit these days.
