I’m sure people have posted this. I can’t find the right search bar.

I finally lost my last set of keys. I got a new one made, but no remote.

I’m researching installing remote start. I’m wondering what brands people have installed and been happy with.

I went with @Accessorides long range 2 way fob kit and very pleased with it. Plug and play fully reversible with no cutting or splicing.

I installed a Fortin model from Crutchfield about 5 years ago. It has a 3500 ft range so I am to start from inside a store or a condo building. Not sure if they are still sold there, but I would start with asking Crutchfield. They make their stuff easy to install with instructions and available tech support if needed.

Viper, Compustar and 12 Volt Solutions are probably the most popular. Personally I prefer Viper but I was also a dealer and install of their alarms for years.
