I was out of town this weekend but got a text Saturday night from our house sitter, along with a picture of a note the neighbor left on the door.

He was in his garage, heard a large noise outside and went to take a look. He saw a car speeding off so he checked his security camera, only to see someone drive down the street and plowing into the back of my truck. Moved it forward about a foot. The car reversed and drove off. I've got a copy of the video, but you can't see the license or the make/model of the car.

I came home early and took some pictures and found the driver left some parts and pieces. I know it was a silver 2 door, and judging by the sound it was electric (video has sound). Damage to my truck seems to be not so bad, but I'll have it checked out. Looks like the dipshit's car hit the bumper and went under. I imagine there is a nice big hole/gash in his hood from the state of my trailer hitch receiver. Calling insurance tomorrow to open a claim...

Biggest part of his car left behind... not sure what it is (keys for size reference)

Scrape marks from his car. There are marks on the right side and INSIDE the receiver. Hope it punched/gouged a huge hole in his hood.

Pushed the trailer electrical bracket back to the point the mounting bolt is pressed against that square tube (part of frame?). The tube appears to be twisted as well, but hard to tell.

Knocked open the change cubby and shot gunned the coins out.

Bumper is also scratched, some plastic pieces cracked. The tonneau cover sticks a bit when I open it, but not bad.

Looks like a good sized dent in the side of that thing so yours might not have been the only one that twit hit.

I saw that. I'd bet drunk driver. I drove around the neighborhood to see if he's local, or to find any other damaged vehicles or property, but no dice.
