Yeah in most places it dried up this year. Little to no rain and no snow really came down up here in the mountains. Going to be a bad summer.
They need to stick to the dunes.

TBH, it's not a great time unless Jason has trouble climbing the ladder to his tent.

    Just saying :)

That was courtesy of the Scotch @WiscoPat brought. It's not a party unless you're sleeping half in and half out of your RTT. That was a great weekend!

    It's comes off way eiser.

My door handle started feeling a little ‘off’ on Sunday morning. Just went to move the truck into the garage to get started on some more front end work, and the door won’t open from inside or out :bananadead:

Glad it waited til I got home to give up, but fuck taking off the door panel with the door shut is going to be miserable

Just roll the windows down and jump in Dukes of Hazard Style. No door handles needed.

Discount Tire is bringing in a couple different 285 70 17s for me to look at tomorrow.

Looks like coming down to Mickey Thompson Baja Boss At and Toyo RT Trails but in the e rated 285s these have 3 ply sidewalls

I don’t even trust 3 ply toilet paper… Spring for the extra plies!

This - you'll end up spending more replacing shredded sidewalls, if you use the truck for the good stuff. Add in that you'll lose 1 at a time, but you'll get duped into buying at least two to keep the rotation in order if you put some actual miles on it before it happens.

and again, if you use your truck, it's gonna happen. Especially here in the desert

I've sliced one 35" Mickey MT 3 Ply.. they are a little chonkier than a typical 3 ply. This was after many abusive trips including multiple KOH trips. Oh, and they are D rated as well.. more appropriate for our truck weights.

I've also sliced a 33" E rated 10 ply Falken.. sooo.. shit happens regardless. I like my D rated 3 ply Mickey MT's the most out of any tires I've ran. I think I'm going to try their C rated XS line 35" next..
