I’ll have so many tools and parts that they start to get in my way.

 

The older folks can be experienced and f**k up too, just look at the two diffs that were done on your truck!

This whole project is forcing me to clean out the garage as my workbench and shelves gotta all come down.

Good morning guys, have a great Tuesday! It is Tuesday, I double checked the calendar.

 

It’s been about 6-7 years to have this much build up and let loose on our carraige house:


Nice to have a real winter again

 

My problem is I start a project, need a tool, go looking for it, realize something isn't put away or a drawer is too messy for my liking so then I spend two hours reorganizing the garage then realize I still haven't finished the project I started....

Only way to keep me on task is for me to think 'if I get this done fast, I'll have a lot of time to relax the rest of the day.' This is usually when I'm doing a crappy task like replacing shocks on a 2003 corolla that's lived it's whole life in the rust belt...

 

It's been about 3 years since I've initially enclosed this carport, so stuff has accumulated quite epically

It's not a big shop or garage like some have, but it's something I've put together all by myself. Guess that counts for something?

Trying to get a lot of work done on it before my vacation mid March. Friend is going on vacation for a week and wants me to do an oil change and headlight bulb change on their truck. What they don't know is it's gonna get a complete detail (polish, seal, etc). We help each other on random projects and it's just another way of saying thank you.

The one on the left just needs to get broken in a bit, then it'll be as good as the other.
