Tail lights bolt sizes.

    Did a dumb thing today. Needed to take out my tail light to check some wiring I have running behind it that I put in years ago. I recently bought a cheap harbor freight torque wrench and figured I should learn to use it on these bolts since they wouldn’t require too much pressure. Not sure if I missed the click or what but I snapped off the bolt head.

    now I gotta find a way to extract it and replace it. Hoping someone knows what bolt to replace it with.

    If it was a 10mm socket you used to remove it.
    It's probably an M6x1.0 bolt.

    Not sure on the length. Just take the one pout below it and match it up.

    BTW, I like to "test" new torque wrenches on a lug nut. ;)

    BTW, if you take the bottom one out.
    I bet the light will come out like normal.
    Then you might have enough bolt sticking out to grab with vice grips. :thumbsup:
