New front hub is too long

So my front wheel bearings went out for the first time since I bought this truck and destroyed my hubs so I go and buy new ones well they are about a 1/4in longer than my old ones and will not allow you to load up the bearings I’m so lost at this point, does anyone know why this could be (2001 Toyota Tacoma 3.4 4wd

I do not have a picture but sticking a tape though the center of the hub it’s a solid 1/4 longer than the ones that came off of it I got away with taking about a 1/8 inch off with a band saw on the passenger side a few years ago and it’s still just fine but on the drive side the collar is bottoming out on the hub before it loads the bearings

 

Is there a chance there’s a difference in a abs and non abs hub if so couldn’t I just slap a tone ring in there as a spacer because mine had none in them

I cut a 1/8inch off the new hub so the collar could slide on more, the more I think about it now sounds like there’s supposed to be a abs ring in there to space it out even without abs

 

With ABS uses tone ring, without ABS uses a washer

 

So the new, replacement hubs are not too long afterall?

 

Sounds like something was hacked off
Maybe the race from an old bearing, new could mean new to him

 

So evidently someone makes a non abs hub for these trucks because I had no washer or tone ring it was just collar to bearing nothing in between, I am going to get everything to do both sides (including tone rings or washers) and I will take pictures of the hubs side by side and show the measurements of them, I appreciate y’all’s help and I will keep y’all updated
