Thanks. I checked (and topped off) the fluid about a year ago at 4k miles.

At this point, my tuner is contacting OTT and I think I'm going to try what John mentioned - the stock throttle with their calibration (post #18).

Tightening plugs is making a big difference already. It doesn't engine brake as hard and the pedal is even less jerky. Also it seems to be relearning the shift pressures. Wtf o_O

    Thanks

Here's an update in case anyone comes along later and wonders what happened.

I reached out to my tuner and we put the Lite minus on the truck and it was better, but still a bit twitchy for how I drive. So, my tuner reached out to OTT and they sent him a tune with the stock throttle on their calibration. We put that on my truck Sunday night. I drove to work yesterday and today. This morning it was stop and go traffic for 20+ and the truck drove very smooth. I no longer have any twitchiness and, of course, the transmission shifts much, much better.

Thanks @Boltripper for the suggestion and help! I'm really happy with how the truck drives now!

Cman, is it still driving better 7 months later? I am having the exact same issues with my 2019 that you listed with yours. I have also checked all the things you checked as well. I bought the truck with the OTT medium/spicy already installed (but didn't know that at the time). After a few days of driving it, it started to drive me crazy that I couldn't get it to accelerate smooth and I started wondering if it was tuned (dealer told me it was not). I was able to track down the previous owner who traded it in and he verified it was OTT tuned. I had the throttle changed to Lite/Mild and it's slightly better on take-off from a stop, but at low speeds it's still jerky when coasting and trying to give it a little throttle. The closest tuner is 3 hours from me and I'm wishing I would have seen your post sooner. I had to pay $400 to re-up the tune in my name before they would change the throttle settings. I want to get the throttle set back to factory, but it's going to be a 6 hour round trip. It would be 100% worth it if it solves this issue though...really takes the enjoyment out of driving it at lower speeds.

@josh01 , yes, it's still driving great. I've put over 5,300 miles on it since my last post and I am very happy with the throttle now. No more jerkiness and, of course, it shifts much better.

Ok, awesome to hear that! I am going to reach out to my tuner and see about getting the throttle set back to stock. Thanks for the reply!

I just had my tuner adjust the throttle response back to factory settings on Saturday, and so far it's solved my issue. They had to reach out to OTT to get the custom tune, but didn't take long at all for them to send it out. I was surprised that my tuner didn't seem to know this was possible. I wish it would have been less jerky with the Lite/Mild throttle settings, I kind of liked the feeling of increased "power", but not at the expense of the jerkiness in low speed traffic. Thanks again for making this post, it was driving me close to the point of having the tune removed.
    Cheers!

That's great to hear! I don't think it's too surprising a tuner doesn't know about this option. Most people don't want/need it - they usually want the Mild, Med, or Spicy tunes. That said, I was impressed with the communication between OTT and my tuner. OTT was quick to get the tune to my tuner and my tuner was great about getting it on my truck and making sure I was happy with it.

I've put somewhere around 7,000 miles on the truck since I got the tune with standard/stock throttle response and it's still driving great.

I think you are right, most people want to feel the tune when they hit the gas pedal. I think your post was the only one I found after hours of scouring the internet that actually addressed my issue. It's very difficult to find a post about someone who is unhappy with the OTT tune throttle settings. Everyone seems to love the increased sensitivity...except us lol
