Just took my 2018 Tacoma in for 70,000 mile service and to have them check out chirping/rattling type noise when I accelerate mostly and slightly when just idling at Stop sign or parked. Its really pronounced when you pass other vehicles or walls and can catch the echo of bouncing back to you.

The dealer replaced the alternator belt and I didn't initially hear it when I drove off (but then again assumed they fixed it) next day I can hear it sounds just as bad as it did before they changed the belt.

Waiting for the dealer to call me back. Just mainly concerned since I have to drive my truck for work this weekend and don't want something to break and get stranded becuase something breaks.

If not the belt, then maybe an idler pulley? Like anything like your mystery chirp, start with the easy and cheap stuff first then go from there. Good luck and welcome.

Cool thanks, yeah it will be a couple days before I can take it back to the dealership so they check the pulleys since the supposedly replaced the belt. Just hoping it doesn't break down before then.

The HP fuel pump on these trucks have been known to make a chirping noise.

Taking it back to dealer tomorrow, going to make sure they drive it around first with the windows down so they can hear it. I'll keep y'all posted
