That RED POPS! Definitely getting the liners now. Also gonna' talk to ARK about buying some raw liner material to fab some rears. (because matchy matchy is important...)

Congratz on the 4Runner! I just saw the TFL comparison between the 4R and the new Land Cruiser. Impressive off road manners for both!

Dude. Just dug through all the leftover boxes and bags from the Stage 4 Lift Kit. NO SPANNER WRENCH included in a (IMHO) fairly expensive kit. Kinda' bummed. I've been modifying cars for forty years and rarely had a component not include the necessary tools to utilize the benefits of said component. This, especially from JDM parts. Japan never disappointed.

Just spent another $100, for two spanner wrenches. to adjust my fancy adjustable suspension. Sheesh...

I feel like these are popular w/ tuners, they are useless especially with spacers. You might have a 2” spot with no mud.

I'd wonder if that wash has attendants? Looking at that damage I'd say a vehicle went through before you covered in mud. You come thru and it's like washing your car with sandpaper.

Sonax Perfect finish with a yellow foam Rupes pad. Thank me later.
I test drove one of those yesterday. A TRD off road premium in underground grey. Hopefully you've had the chance to drive one before ordering.

I could feel every ripple in the road. The small imperfections in the road were the most noticeable. If you drove over a quarter I could tell you if it was heads or tales. It lacked any power for acceleration and freeway merging and had uncomfortable hard plastics on the upper door panels. The 5th gens are a much better vehicle.

You might like it though. I do like the green Everest color, but that's about it.

When I first bought my 2021 4Runner, I was wondering why the one I bought rode so rough! The one I test drove at a different dealership was much better. I discovered that the tires were inflated to 50 psi!!! What the heck?! I brought them down to 32 psi per the door sticker and have been happy ever since. Not saying this was your experience, but was what happened to me.

The tires were overinflated, but I think there was more to it. The suspension seemed unrefined like it was meant for a car, but bolted up to a 4Runner. The 5th gens are more truck like. The 6th gen is a bit like having corolla suspension on a truck frame. :notsure:

The steering angle sensor is also part of this and the whole thing would need to be replaced just for that sensor. Not a bad install even for a 1st time but I am 1 tooth off (mark the teeth but don’t use a fatty sharpie)

that was the last time ill use a portable jump/boost when the result was a fried steering sensor and Xmas tree lights on the dash

I've pulled many steering columns to repair them over the years with the battery still connected and never had an issue, just don't let the wheel (or shaft) turn and not rotate it back or you will break the spring when you put back together and turn lock to lock... oops

So I pulled this off the shelf… started it 3-4 yrs ago, had it partially installed but had since removed to add wires… I never added the wires, life happened and now I forgot where I left off and my train of thought at the time. I should of made better notes, even label the damn wires

Basically a custom harness from left of steering wheel to overhead console that brings up 3 switches and 1 down. Since it’s going up the a pillar I wanted to combine all the wires for that then branch out individually to there location. So now I’ve been re reading old threads and conversations to figure what’s left

if I ever get it finished the overhead console will be home to driver heated seat/front cam/gbs mic/passenger heated seat. Vsc traction will hopefully find its place under the a/c controls

That bright yellow cable is typically associated with air bags/air bag circuitry. I’d guess the air bag is close by . . . .
