I have a 2015 4x4 Taco with 144,000 miles on it. The transmission was serviced at 60,000, and was just recently flushed at the dealership after "HARD" shifts suddenly started. I had never noticed any transmission issues until one day a few months ago. That same day the issue started I got a P0746 & P0771.

The stealership wanted to put a new tranny in and quoted me between $6000-8000. After alot of research (thanks) I started trying to diagnose it myself. One of the guys at my AAMCO said it seemed like a wiring issue, which supports what i have read online, and the nature of it..

I dissconected the solenoid wiring harness from the transmission to test the circuits, i realized i need differnt test leads for the mulitimeter, so im waiting on those. but i snapped a picture of the inside of the harness. I didn't notice it before but does that look like atc fluid in there?

    Thanks,
    S
