Eat enough hallucinogens and the rules will make perfect sense. You’re obviously not trying hard enough

Some of my greatest memories is taking my boys fishing. We have all had our own inflatable pontoons from 7 years on. Before that they would ride the back of mine. Such great times, we would spend hours floating and casting…and tying/untangling hahaha.

im sure it was worth it though, I’m quickly finding out all the cliches are so true, you can’t blink it seems as they grow so fast.. i am in the thick of some wildness and untangling right now but it’s cool cuz we are all growing together, i learn lots about being a dad as they learn about some fishing..

    lol yea don’t blink.

I’ve got a 12 and 10 year old. It was less than two weeks ago that they were born. Time has a cruel way of speeding up when you have kids

With warmer temps, the 2 inches of ice from the ice storm 2 weeks ago has finally broken up.
Besides the yotes and fox who traveled on top of the ice, the local deer went into the pines.
Now, they're filtering back in. Doe and skipper last night chowing down on an old head of lettuce that's been sitting there for a week.lol....

I've come up with a great Idea. Fire everyone involved with making these stupid Unenforceable BS, and hire someone with common sense to write new regulations for fishing in the Columbia River that actually make sense and everyday people can go fishing without worrying about am I breaking the law, or what side of the boat do I have to fish from.

Common sense isn't common anymore and it can't be taught, unfortunately

Reminds me of the time that lawmakers in Texas approved Warfarin as a poison to combat the wild boar population. Thankfully a bunch of ranchers got together to explain to the lawmakers that they were essentially going to ripple effect the entire ecosystem by introducing that poison. Thankfully it was repealed quickly.

instructions on the proposed poison stated that each animal that died from it needed to be buried a minimum of 6 feet to avoid other animals consuming the tainted meat
