Has anyone here removed the “blackout” vinyl Between the driver and passenger window on their 4g? I scratched the crap out of mine, and since the truck only has like 700 miles on it of course it is bothering me.

I am considering taking it to a body shop and having them remove the vinyl, There should be underground colored paint under their right?

If anyone has done this, please share your experiences with it or pictures if you have them. Even better if it’s an underground.

Here’s a picture of the scratch. I know it’s not a big deal, but I just bought this thing lol. I might just leave it, but I wanted to check here to see what others have done.

grab your wife's hair dryer and see if you can heat it up. might make it less noticable.

At least on the 3G, there's body-colored paint beneath the vinyl wrap. I took it off because I wanted to see more of the paint color that I paid for!

I liked the look. Plus that vinyl is going to weather in the sun eventually.
