Spidertrax on aftermarket rims??

    I feel like it's just not as safe with the spidertrax, you know? Seems better to have just one piece attached to the hub than two. With the wheel itself, you're only stressing the original lug nuts...with a spacer (technically an "adapter"), you're stressing the original hub as well as the adapter lugs. Wonder if we have any physics savvy people around here that can shed more technical light on this...

    Oh alright. In that case, im probably going to push my luck. :p Maybe I can be the one to post the horror story behind using spacers with after market wheels.

    Don't worry, it'll happen to me before you haha.

    Basically the only reason I'm still doing it is because I haven't heard anybody say anything absolutely negative about this setup. And also that spidertrax has a really good reputation.

    i've been thinking about going this route with my current wheel set up, 17x9. just dunno yet. i know i couldn't clear my current tires with my tiny lift though so if anything im going to have to wait till i get smaller tires.

    your trucks stance is exactly what im after though, very nice!
