Few action shots from the annual long overlanding trip with the crew. @MR E30 and @Sixthelement with the fantastic spotting through the really technical sections.

The front end face-lift is complete. The LEDs are such a massive improvement over the halogens. Most of the major mods done for now. In future upgrading front brakes is something I'll want to do so can improve braking with all the additional weight. Also maybe add a pair of LP6's up front to replace the lightbar i had to take out

Welp expensive lesson learned. As much as I really really wanted to like the toyo rt trails 2 cut sidewalls in 8 months just had to stop chasing bad money replacing one after each trip. Whomever thought 2 ply sidewalls on an offroad centric E series tire should be taken out back and beaten. Wasn't a lot I liked in the same 275 size esp with a 3 ply sidewall.
So in with the Mickey Thompson Baja Boss AT 285 70-17 . Specs out at true 33 inch tire plus 3 ply sidewalls.

On another note Glue Tread is legit, quick on trail repair with wheel still on the truck. The sidewall cut happened on the start of carpet hill very early into a long day of technical wheeling. Patch held through the rest of the nasty stuff then again next morning on faster dirt road bombing to get back to pavement where I swapped the spare on.
