Sounds like an expensive problem to me to get above 400hp. While I completely understand why you would want to upgrade the HPFP (detonation, etc.), supplementing with upgraded port injection seems to be the cost-wise and proven tech way to go about it. It will be interesting to follow this and see if the solution makes it to market.

We are still exploring the sole use of upgraded port injection. In the past, prior to the fuel balancing with the rail, cold starts were terrible and there was a lot of rich misfiring. 10 psi was just crap to drive. Hoping that is fixed with the new rails, but still dialing in the tuning and it's obviously not cold yet.

I haven't seen over 10psi yet. I think it's still too early to say that Port fueling is enough to overcome the 400hp mark. This thing is temperamental at best. Regardless, port injection is only going to carry us so far, and it probably won't be much higher than 400hp. It's a bandaid at best.

I'm not quite ready to sacrifice the $$$$ Lexus pump to dissection, so it is shipping out to @JamesT, he is in a position ATM where testing the pump will happen quickly. With a little a luck, he will discover that it can deliver a higher volume, fingers crossed. While keeping this part to myself in hopes of developing a profitable product would be a nice business decision, I'd rather open source this in an attempt to get us the fuel this platform so desperately needs... it's been long enough.

Perhaps a bit premature, but hey, it's Friday! Initial testing of the LX600 pump shows real promise.... however, there is much more to do. Keep the positive energy flowing.

Any updates on this? It would be cool to have options regarding the pump, thank you for the hard work regardless.
